Carol Ann (Haughton) Moorse

Carol Moorse, 81 of Carmel, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2024. She was born October 13, 1942, in Montreal, Canada, the cherished daughter of Albert and Margaret Haughton. Carol was a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and was known for her artistic talent and design skills. Beyond her creative pursuits, Carol was an avid tennis player and golfer, and it was on the tennis court she met the love of her life, John Moorse. Their enduring love story began with a proposal on the shores of Lake Ontario, leading to marriage on February 18, 1967.

In early 1966, Carol joined Sun Life as a graphic designer. In mid-1967 she chose to leave her career to focus on raising her family.

Survivors include her husband, John; children, Debbie (Steve) Golliher, Cheryll (Kevin) Knopf, and Michael (Susan McCann) Moorse; eight grandchildren, and five grand dogs.

Her memory is a testament to selflessness, strength, and enduring love. As we say goodbye, let us find solace and inspiration in the legacy of warmth and kindness she leaves behind.

A private service will be held at a later date with her immediate family.
