Jordan C. Davis, 25, of Carmel, passed away Friday October 6, 2017. Jordan was born in Indianapolis on February 17, 1992 son of Deborah Hughes and Denny Davis.
Jordan attended Carmel High School and finished by obtaining his GED.
Jordan was a free spirited young man who was always ready for another adventure. He enjoyed hiking, taking road trips to anywhere at the last minute, going on cruises with his mom, and being involved in every sport he could participate in. Every time you would encounter Jordan, he would have a smile on his face and try his very best to make sure you were happy. If there was an opportunity to help someone, he was there willing to help and serve. Wherever life’s journey took him, he never met a stranger.
Jordan always loved visiting the family lake in Olney, IL, fishing, riding on his aunt’s boat, and tubing. He especially enjoyed lighting off fireworks every year with his brothers and cousins on the 4th of July. Jordan was an avid fan of the Indiana Pacers. He attended the basketball games and played on the practice court after each game. Many times the players would come out of their locker rooms after the game, know Jordan by his first name, and then shoot hoops with him.
Jordan will always be remembered by his infectious personality and the love he had for his family. When finishing a phone call, he would never say goodbye without saying “I love you”.
Jordan was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nonna Geiger and his beloved dog, Nala.
He is survived by his mother, Deborah Hughes; father, Denny Davis; daughter, Ava Davis; brothers, Josh Wilson, Trevor Wilson and Blake Hughes; many aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved dearly.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Faith Apostolic Church, 1212 E. 116th Street, Carmel.
Bussell Family Funerals is privileged to assist the family in arrangements.
