Obituary of Frances Quick
Heaven is rejoicing and welcoming home, Frances L. Quick, 97, of Noblesville, IN. She was born on October 4, 1919 in Sheridan, IN, daughter of Floyd M. and Mabel Higbee Anderson.
Frances grew up on a farm in Sheridan and was a 1938 graduate of Sheridan High School. During World War II, she was employed at Winklers Lebanon Pitman Moore which later became Dow Chemical.
God blessed Frances with a magnetic personality; therefore, people were drawn to her sweet spirit. She never met a stranger and was ready to give an encouraging word to everyone around her. Frances was faithful in mailing birthday and thinking of you cards to many family and friends.
Frances was known for her generosity, especially in giving out drumstick lollipops and peppermint candies. Through the years, Frances was involved and served in her church in different areas. She always had such a heart for missions.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Marvin Quick; great-grandson, Steven Mark Smith, Jr and brother, Ted Anderson.
Survivors include her children, Larry L. (Marilyn) Quick, Jo Carol (Mark) Thompson, and Nancy Bitner; grandchildren, David (Melissa) Quick, Brad (Krista) Quick, Brian (Courtney) Quick, Troy (Marla) Thompson, Tricia Thompson, Denise (Steve) Smith, Travis (Carrie) Thompson, Lisa (Keith) Keysor, and Tara (Brad) Wales; great-grandchildren, Caleb Quick, Josh Quick, Jordan Quick, John Mark Quick, Matthew Quick, Wesley Quick, Ian Quick, Katy Quick, Brandon Quick, Nathan Quick, Johanna (Thomas) Denning, Mikaela (Jeff) Pennington, Zachary Smith, Makenzie Smith, Ryleigh Smith, Elijah Smith, Josephine Thompson, Walter Thompson, Margaret Thompson, Annalise Thompson, Jade Rodriguez, Karly Keysor, Kendall Keysor, Wyatt Wales, and Garrett Wales; great-great-grandson, Isaiah Denning; brother, Reverend Bob (Ruth) Anderson.
Family and Friends will gather on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 9 am in Big Springs Community Church, 11005 E 200 N, Sheridan, IN 46069, where the funeral service will begin at 11 am. Burial will follow in the Mounts Run Cemetery, Zionsville, IN.
In memory of Frances, donations may be given to Big Springs Community Church. Envelopes will be available at the service.
