Bruce A. Goreham, 75, of Carmel, IN, passed away October 9, 2017. He was born in Chicago, IL on July 30, 1942, son of Arthur and Frieda Abuya Goreham.
Bruce was a graduate of the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked at LanTech for a number of years before retiring from General Electric as a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer.
Bruce was a veteran of the US Navy, having served as Lt. Commander in Nuclear Engineering. Bruce also served as an elder for many years at Meadowview Presbyterian Church. Bruce enjoyed model railroading and was a member of the National Model Railroad Association and the Kentuckiana Society of "N" Scalers. Bruce was a longtime member of the Boy Scouts of America and continued to be strong supporter.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Martha Hefelfinger Goreham, whom he married on October 21, 1967; son, Keith Michael Goreham, his wife, Rachel Leigh Goreham; grandsons, Arthur William Goreham, Daniel Paul Goreham and Benjamin Michael Goreham; brother, Barry Goreham and his wife, Barbara Goreham and their daughters Katherine Finn and Amy Goreham.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4 pm on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in Cornerstone Lutheran Church, 4850 E. Main Street, Carmel with a time of visitation beginning at 3 pm. The inurnment will follow in the Columbarium.
In memory of Bruce, donations may be given to the Presbyterian Church, USA, P.O. Box 643700, Pittsburgh, PA, 15264-3700. Envelopes will be available at the service.
